About The Innovation Journey
In partnership with the JDC (The Joint), Israeli AgriTech startups are matched with partners in Sub-Saharan African countries in order to improve the productivity, resilience, output quality, market access, and economic growth of smallholder farmers. This program paves the way for Israeli startups and companies to enter the large agricultural market and make their impact.
The Innovation Journey, existing since 2019, has conducted three successful past cohorts – two in Ethiopia and one in South Africa, The program is led by the JDC (American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee), the world's leading Jewish humanitarian organization, in partnership with the Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry, and with Pears Program for Global Innovation as professional content and execution partner.
